Nigeria's plan to privatise electricity causes controversy

Reports that the Nigerian government is increasing electricity prices through privatization by as much as 88 per cent, is of huge concern for many citizens. The government says the price hike is the only way to help fix the country's power supply. The minister of power defended the price increase and says it will not affect the poorer end of the population. Al Jazeera's Yvonne Ndege reports from the Nigerian capital Abuja.
