Syria vows to clamp down on protests

The Syrian army has vowed to hunt down and arrest opponents of President Bashar al-Assad.

Military troops and vehicles reportedly entered several Syrian cities on Sunday.

Assad's government has been internationally condemned for its violent crackdown on demonstrators.

However, the government says its own soldiers and members of the police are also dying in the conflict.

Al Jazeera's Khadija Magardie reports.
