Prisoners Hide in Trash Bags for Escape - as part of the news series by GeoBeats.

The Great Escape it was not.

Two Brazilian prisoners concealed themselves inside bags of trash after lunch time, with the hopes that jail employees would throw the bags outside. Jailed for auto theft, they weren’t so sly while inside the bags, as a guard walked past and noticed them moving. However, the men, who are both behind bars for stealing cars, weren’t so sly while inside those bags, as a guard walked past and noticed the bags moving. It remains unclear how they got into the tied bags , but they might have to serve more time in jail for the comical stunt. A police official states “I don't know how they expected someone to pick them up and carry them away. These are grown men and the bags are made of thin plastic.”

They’re not the only ones to make unrealistic escape efforts. A clip released by “World’s Wildest Police Videos” show an inmate diving into a toilet. He is seen pacing before climbing on the top bunk and completing the dive. Instead of sliding down through the plumbing, he bounced off the toilet headfirst and landed on the floor, needing medical assistance.
