Help Mercantile Capital Corporation Save the SBA 504 FMLP and Refinance Programs

Chris Hurn, the SBA 504 Loan Expert, has started a petition in order to generate some buzz for the extension of two very important SBA loan programs. If it weren’t for the SBA 504 FMLP and refi programs, many of the small business owners we’ve worked with this year wouldn’t have been able to get financing for their commercial real estate projects. These programs will go away on September 27th unless Congress acts and grants an extension for each. The election-year gridlock isn’t helping the situation, and we're certain that in any other year these programs would get the necessary extensions fairly easily (they’ve been THAT effective and beneficial for small business owners in a short amount of time).

To lend your support to this effort to extend the SBA 504 FMLP and Refi programs, sign the petition at http://bit.ly/fmlp-refi-petition. We thank you in advance, on behalf of small business owners all over the country.

Chris mentions in the video that calling a Senator and/or a Representative would also help our efforts to get these programs extended. If you’d like to do that (after you sign the petition, course), please go to our blog at http://www.504Blog.com below is a list of folks in Washington you should pester. Think of this as “extra credit.”
