NewCa.com: 2012 Endangered African Penguins. New Home at the Toronto Zoo

In May of 2011, the Toronto Zoo revived the African Penguin exhibit. It opened in the African Savana pavilion which encompasses 6,000 sq feet of land. The new home of the penguins is much larger than it was previously. It contains a large pool as well as an underground viewing facility where zoo visitors can happily observe these wonderful creatures from both on land and under water.
