US air force base helps comfort relatives of fallen

Fallen US army service members are honoured at the Dover Air Force Base in the US state of Delaware.

It is the responsibility of members of the base to repatriate the remains of US service members killed overseas. A process closed to the media for ten years until US President Barack Obama reversed the ban.

The support and social services that the base members provide to military staff and their families at their time of loss is vital - even if they may be just small acts.

Al Jazeera's Rosiland Jordan reports from Delaware.
