Of all the measures of a nation's prospects, the state of its education system is a sure indicator and this is true of Afghanistan.

After a decade since the US invasion - Afghan girls have the opportunity to study and pursue careers previously closed to them by the Taliban.

But the reality is that this is opportunity for urban youths is an exception rather than the rule.
