9/11 VOX POPS - Walid Adel, teacher - Cairo, Egypt

Walid Adel, a teacher from Cairo, Egypt, reflects on the effects of the attacks of September 11, 2001, on the United States, in an interview with Al Jazeera.

"9/11 definitely had a huge impact on the Arab world and the image of Islam has been tainted because of it. People think we are terrorists. It was also a setback for Arabs applying for visas to travel, especially to the United States. We've benefited nothing from it and it's given us a bad reputation."
