Brazil housing surge raises fears of bubble

As other world economies falter, Brazil is enjoying an economic boom and so its real estate.

But as property prices across the country and especially in Rio de Janeiro reach historic highs, some in the real estate market are questioning whether this is a real estate boom or bubble.

Analysts on both sides say there is concern that the Brazilian currency is overvalued.
