NATO rejects Gaddafi ceasefire offer

NATO has rejected Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi's call for a truce.

The call came in a televised address on state media, in which Gaddafi said he was ready for a ceasefire and negotiations, if NATO did likewise.

As Al Jazeera's Omar al Saleh has found, people in the country's main opposition stronghold, Benghazi, are also sceptical.
