Gbagbo party leader calls for end to conflict

Pascal Affi N'Guessan, the president of deposed Ivorian president Laurent Gbagbo's party, has called for an end to the fighting in the country.

Affi N'Guessan said the recent conflict between rival political factions ended with Gbagbo's arrest last Monday, and asked supporters to shun violence and contribute to nation building.
