Happy Mondays perform their song "Hallelujah" live in their film "Call the Cops."
Happy Mondays were, along with the Stone Roses, the defining band of the Madchester scene in the late eighties and early nineties. Their music combined rock and house elements in a unique fusion which, coupled with Shaun Ryders biting lyrics, became the soundtrack of the era. This program captures the band on their first American tour in 1990 in support of their bestselling album Pills n Thrills And Bellyaches.
