Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow video game console review of the SNS-101 Super Nintendo Entertainment System aka SNES 2, SNES Mini, or SNES Jr. Released in 1997 as a cheaper alternative to fifth generation consoles like the Sony PlayStation, Nintendo 64, or Sega Saturn, the SNS-101 was designed to be more compact and lightweight than the original Super Nintendo. There's also a few minor differences in its power and reset buttons and video output as pointed out in this video, but otherwise this miniature version of the classic gaming system is great as a replacement for a broken console or for die hard collectors. This review demonstrates the SNS-101 with commentary from CGR Undertow reviewer Kevin.
