Blaze spreads on Croatia's Adriatic coast

Firefighters in Croatia have been trying to control a blaze on the country's Adriatic coast near the tourist town of Vodice.

The fire started in low growing vegetation far from residential areas but, in the warm dry conditions, spread quickly. Troops have been sent to help contain it although local police say it may take several days.
