On March 8th, 2012 Capitol Lighting held “Light Lunch” in Boca Raton, FL. Lights weren’t the only thing on sale as the Gourmet Food Truck Expo and the American Lighting Mobile Light lab invaded Boca Raton. Guests were able to peruse the food trucks, get a quick bite and then come in the showroom for great deals on lights. The three food trucks made sure no one was hungry as the guests learned a thing or two in the Mobile Light Lab. All in all a fun event that is sure to become a Capitol Lighting staple. Capitol's eight lighting stores are the offspring of a family retailing tradition that dates back to 1924, when Max Lebersfeld, an electrical contractor and recent immigrant from Austria-Hungary, opened an affordable lighting store in Newark, NJ. Four generations later, Capitol Lighting has expanded the concept to locations in New Jersey and southeast Florida, including Boca Raton.
