Myanmar government reform process must stay on course - Suu Kyi.

STORY: Myanmar opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi met French President Francois Hollande in Paris on Tuesday (June 26) during the last leg of her European tour.
Hollande welcomed the 67-year-old Nobel Peace laureate with full head of state honors as she brings to an end a 17-day tour that would have been unimaginable 19 months ago, when an authoritarian junta ruled Myanmar and confined her to her home.
After nearly half a century of direct military rule in Myanmar, in 2010 the ruling junta gave way to a quasi-civilian government stuffed with former generals, and since then current President Thein Sein has startled the world with his appetite for reforms.
Suu Kyi said efforts must be made for the reform process to stay on track and that she believed Thein Sein was sincere in his commitments.
"We have to work very hard to make sure that the reform process stays on course. I do not know how sincere all those people are who are involved in the reform process, I cannot speak for everyone of them. I believe that the president is sincere and I believe that he is a sincere man. But I cannot speak for everybody in the government," Suu Kyi said.
Hollande said France would do everything to support reform in Myanmar.
