Islamist Morsy wins Egypt's presidency

Mohamed Morsy is Egypt's newest president.
On Sunday afternoon, Egypt's electoral commission announced that the Muslim Brotherhood's backup candidate beat out Mubarak's last Prime Minister Ahmed Shafik.
Long banned under Mubarak's National Democratic Party - Morsy himself served considerable time in Egyptian prisons - the Muslim Brotherhood now occupies for the first time the country's highest post.
But despite the victory, many worry the president will wield little, if any, meaningful power.
Last week the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces dissolved the Islamist-dominated parliament, in a move seen by many as a step toward cementing its own iron grip on Egypt, and continuing decades of autocratic rule.
And with still no constitution, the presidential powers can be decided almost entirely by the military junta.
