RCMP Police car brand new VS salt truck winter

This happened on Pleasant street , Police responded to a traffic accident and were saying that the hill was slippery to send a salt truck that the officer was blocking the road , well the salt truck hit him and the police car was brand new , I was talking to the officer to see if he was ok This happened just after 1pm. Corner of Pleasant Street and Lewisville Road in Sunny Brae section of Moncton.
