Beshara were formed 1976 in Birmingham and were formely named ''Cool Dimension'' which then changed to ''The Kushites''.
The Band enjoyed success with early recordings such as ''Men Cry Too'', which reached number 6 in the reggae charts, whilst ''Shadow Of Love'', ''Glory Glory'' and Candi also received some success.
The Band recieved much acclaim when they toured with UB40, Beres Hammond, Simply Red, Dennis Brown, Bad Manners and John Holt.
