Freezing Rain instead of 30cm of snow?

Snow was suppose to start at Midnight and bring Moncton around 30 cm of snow, but instead we only got a couple of cm of freezing rain, with very high winds. Roads were a bit slick but salt trucks were out early this morning, so a lot of slush but for the most part the roads were pretty good. Shots from the C.N. Humpyard & Public Works, sidewalk plow was pushing more water then snow on Killam Drive and salt trucks are still on the move at 10 A.M. Earlier this morning Moncton was getting thunder and lightning, stay tuned weather will change again in a few minutes!
