Campsite For Football Fans Opens Near Kiev

This is one of the places where football fans can stay during the European Championship.
[Vadim Bukhkalov, Euro 2012 Campsite Founder]:
"There will be a central entrance, and registration. There will be parking, bar, restaurant, here is the scene of the central field."
The newly constructed campsite near Kiev, called Village Litvinovka, will be installing 2, 5 and 6 person tents in the coming days.
Because the ground is uneven, the tents will be erected on special pallets.
[Dennis Dobrinjev, Labourer]:
"It is very rough terrain, and if the tents were simply on the ground, it would be quite uncomfortable to live here."
The cost for using the campsite ranges from 15 to 20 euros per day.
It will include entertainment and open air concerts, as well as having the live matches broadcast on big screens.
There will also be cultural days, where the history of competing nations will be celebrated, including serving traditional food from each competing country.
Each day, there will be football matches between fans of the countries that are playing later that evening.

"For example, when Italy plays Spain, the fans will play each other during the day, and in the evening they can see how this compares to the match between national teams."

"For lovers of active holidays there is also an adventure trail. To complete the whole length of 400 meters one has to overcome 7 obstacles".
The creators of "Litvinovka" say they can accommodate up to three thousand football fans.
After the Euros, the campsite will hold festivals and celebrations, including children's festivals.
