"Once" earns 8 Tonys, Tom Cruise rocks London

Irish love story "Once" scooped Broadway's highest honors, the Tony Awards, including a win for best musical. The Broadway musical adaptation of the 2006 independent film garnered eight wins in all, including best actor in a musical and best direction.

"Clybourne Park," a satire on race relations, won best play. The show premiered more than two years ago off-Broadway.

Lady Gaga departed Auckland, New Zealand, on Monday (June 11) after reportedly suffering a minor injury at a concert.

Gaga was performing when one of her dancers accidentally hit her over the head with a pole. She joked that she had a concussion, but finished the concert regardless.

Finally, Tom Cruise was in London for the premiere of "Rock of Ages." Hundreds of fans turned up to get a glimpse of the star.

He was joined on the carpet by Russell Brand, who commented on his on-screen kiss with Alec Baldwin.
