Creatine: Before or After Vertical Jump Training

Today’s question is from Scott, Scott says:
“Watching your videos, good stuff man, I have been recommended taking creatine 30 min. before workout. I noticed in your video you recommend taking it after. Since it works by replacing phosphate molecular, ATP, don’t you think it would be most effective prior to exercising?”
So that is a good question, certainly something open for debate. Here is my take on it. One, if you can absorb all that creatine pre-workout, true you could use it during that current workout. However with creatine people do things like loading, taking different amounts, and taking it with different types of drinks and things like that.
The whole reason is when you take creatine you are probably not going to get the effects directly. You are going to build up a creatine storage that will be used during exercise. This isn’t done immediately, for example, the first day you take creatine the next time you work out you probably won’t have additional creatine s
