512 counter
9 bit binary counter built from 3 x TTL 74LS90 ic's.
8 bits are one byte so basically this is a 2 byte counter.
By adding one more 7490 the capacity is greatly increased to 4096 which would make it a 16 byte counter and capacity eightfolded.
TTL IC's work on 5 Volts DC

Parts required for this counter
3 x 74LS90 IC's
9 x 300 or 330 ohms resistors ¼ Watt
9 LED's (10 millimeter) any size or colour can be used.
some Vero board and hook up wire.

I used the 10 or 1 Hertz pulse from my breadboard set up. so you may have to make up a 555 timing circuit to clock the A(14) terminal of the first TTL IC.
