When Venus Waltzes With The Sun, They Make Beautiful Music

Venus transits the Sun on June 5th, and if you don't see it now, your kids (or grand kids) won'tl get another chance until the year 2117. The soundtrack was recorded by NASA's Voyager spacecraft: the deep bass is the sound of the sun, and the higher frequencies are the sounds of the planets. The champagne cork pop came from Earth. The solar system, it seems, is an exceptionally harmonious place. The final piano chord is my own addition to the cosmic dance.
