Deadly earthquake strikes Chile

A massive magnitude 8.8 earthquake struck Chile early on Saturday, producing powerful aftershocks and triggering a tsunami.

The epicentre of the earthquake was located off the coast in Maule, near the city of Concepcion, 320km from the capital of Santiago.

Al Jazeera's Omar al-Saleh reports.
