Taliban second in command captured

A man believed to be the Taliban's second-most important leader, and a trusted friend of Taliban leader Mullah Omar has been captured, US officials have told Al Jazeera.
He was reportedly seized in a joint operation between Pakistani and US intelligence agencies last week in the Pakistani city of Karachi.
