Argentina mulls crackdown on young offenders - 12 Aug 09

A number of high-profile murders in Argentina commited by teenagers has led politicians to consider changing the law, so as to allow minors to be charged as adults.

But human rights activists say this wouldn't address the underlying causes of the crimes: crippling poverty and economic unequality.
