Japanese families face Children's Day

Much of eastern Japan remains in ruins. Thousands are still trying to rebuild their lives.

This Thursday some may find it especially hard - because it's Children's Day in Japan.

Kesennuma was a busy fishing port turned into rubble. The town was devastated in minutes.

For Kiyohide Chiba and his ten-year-old son, everything changed that day.
