Wrongly accused of murders by his own brother, Karl decides to flee after his family drove him away from their home. He then unwillingly becomes the leader of a group of dissenters. This loose adaptation of Schiller’s The Robbers deals with the rebellion of young people who want to free themselves from the stranglehold of the established power and questions the condition of mankind.
