Nathan Nordstrom is a graduate of East West College. He is a nationally certified continuing education provider for Educated Touch. Mr. Nordstrom currently teaches at the University of Western States massage therapy program. He has taught and mentored massage therapists from all over the country. He has been published on everythingmassage.com, and quoted in such publications as "Massage Therapy Journal" and "Massage" magazine.
Mr. Nordstrom has worked in the field of massage for over eight years, earning experience working in a retreat spa, and medical offices, owned a day spa, served as President of the Oregon Chapter of the AMTA, serving as an examiner for the Oregon Board of Massage Therapy, and served on national board of the AMTA. He has assisted on committees for both AMTA and NCBTMB.
Adam has been practicing massage therapy since 2007. In 2008, he started his own private practice in NW Portland, and has been helping clients live better, more balanced lives ever since.
Adam strives to live a simple and balanced life, and he brings that energy to his clients during every session. As part of his life style, Adam loves to sail - an activity he finds deeply relaxing and spiritual - and lives in a floating home on the Columbia River. He also plays and writes music in his spare time. If he isn't in the office, odds are he's out on the river. Adam also loves to teach, and TA's at the University of Western States masage therapy program. Adam also teaches an Ethics of Massage workshop he co-created with Nathan Nordstrom. Adam loves the profession of Massage Therapy, and it shows in his work. No two massages are the same, as Adam tries to tailor each treatment to his clients specific needs.
