STORY:

The official song to celebrate The Queen's diamond jubilee has been revealed.

The piece entitled 'Sing' was composed by Take That's Gary Barlow and Andrew Lloyd Webber and includes a cameo from Prince Harry on the tambourine in the music video.

The recording of 'Sing' will be released on May 28th and has contributions from 210 musicians from across the Commonwealth, including the African Children's Choir, Aboriginal guitarist Gurrumul, Slum Drummers from Kenya's Kibera slum, the Jolly boys from Jamaica and Royal Solomon Islands Police Force Band.

Barlow traveled Commonwealth countries seeking undiscovered talent to put together The Queen's tribute song.

'Sing' will form part of a commemorative jubilee album by Gary Barlow & The Commonwealth Band, to be released by Decca Records on Monday May 28th.

A celebration concert will take place on June 4, on an unusual circular stage built around the huge memorial to Queen Victoria that stands in front of the Buckingham Palace gates.

Victoria, who was queen from 1837 to 1901, is the only monarch in British history to have reigned for longer than Queen Elizabeth.
