Nigerians brace for worse post-election violence

Muhammadu Buhari, the defeated candidate in Nigeria's presidential race, has slammed the elections saying they were "rigged" despite observers declaring the vote "free and fair".

Meanwhile, about 40,000 people have been displaced by the violence that followed the poll on April 16.

A human rights groups says more than 200 people have been killed since.

And there is fear that the situation may get worse, as Al Jazeera's Caroline Malone reports. (20 Apr 2011)
