Kabul's convict mayor left to run city - 12 Dec 09

Hamid Karzai, the Afghan president, has been under increasing international pressure to stamp out corruption in his country.

Recently, the mayor of Kabul was convicted and sentenced to four years in jail. But, he not only ignored the ruling, he wasn't stopped from continuing to run the city.
