The Israeli government has begun easing restrictions on checkpoints leading to the city of Nablus in the occupied West Bank.

The move is bringing about noticeable changes inside the city and among its residents.

Al Jazeera's Sherine Tadros took a bus from the city of Ramallah to Nablus to experience the changes herself.
