US drawdown in Iraq raises security concerns

As the deadline for the withdrawal of US troops from Iraq nears, bases across the country are being closed down and handed over to the Iraqi security personnel.

But with violence on the rise, many Iraqis question whether their own security forces are ready to fill the void.

The US has said it will stay longer if Baghdad requests, but so far the deadline to leave remains.
