Holbrooke on 'Operation Moshtarak'

Operation Moshtarak, the joint Afghan-Nato military operation in southern Afghanistan, is into its third day.

Despite the deaths of 12 civilians in the town of Marjah, Afghan officials said almost total control of the area had been wrested from the Taliban.

Al Jazeera interviewed Richard Holbrooke, the US special envoy to Afghanistan and Pakistan, on the operation. (15 Feb 2010)
