Afghans protest civilian deaths - 31 Dec 2009

The streets of Kabul have been flooded with protesters, angry at the number of civilian deaths at the hands of foreign forces in the country.

The protests were triggered by an ISAF air raid, that killed ten Afghans, including schoolchildren, in Kunar Province, close to the Pakistani border.

Western forces in Afghanistan face a huge PR problem, as the troops get less popular with every civilian death.
