Grammy-award winning singer Angelique Kidjo, was born and raised in Benin, West Africa. At the age of six Angelique started performing in her mother's theatre troupe.
Since then, Angelique has accumulated a high profile fan club, collaborating with the likes of Peter Gabriel, Annie Lennox, Santana and Alicia Keyes.

Alongside her music, Angelique is a UNICEF Ambassador and has her own educational foundation.
