Jodie Kidd petitions to reinstate Polo in the Olympics

Today, (Monday 23rd April 2012), former model and Polo player Jodie Kidd has urged IOC to reinstate Polo as an Olympic sport. Team GB have enjoyed former gold medal glory in the London Olympics in 1908 at the home of Polo, The Hurlingham Club. It was last played as an Olympic sport in the 1936 Berlin Olympics, but was abandoned in the London 1948 games as the War took hold, in what became known as The Austerity Games.
