PSLV C19 RISAT-1 LAUNCH APRIL 26 2012 ISRO

On 26 April 2012 5.47 a.m. India will launch another Historic Mission PSLV C19/RISAT-1. The satellite RISAT-1 is heaviest (1858 Kg) ever launched on PSLV. Importantly it is First Radar Imaging Satellite of India which took 10 years to build. Project Director for this Mission is Dr.N.Valarmathi second female scientist after A.K.ANURADHA (ISRO GSAT12)to be Project Director of a Mission.
