Sentence me to death or acquit me, Breivik says
Anders Behring Breivik on Wednesday told his trial in Oslo that he wants to face the death penalty or be acquitted.
The 33-year-old said those could be the only just outcomes of the proceedings, which are expected to last 10 weeks.
Capital punishment is illegal in Norway, but if Breivik is ruled to be sane then he will spend at least 21 years in jail.
