Turkey has promised to crack down on the PKK, but in Southern Turkey's Kurdish towns many, including the ruling AK party officials, believe investment is the key to disrupting the the Kurdish sepratist group.

Al Jazeera's Laurence Lee reports from Silopi, where members of the Kurdish population are stressing that they are a part of Turkey.
