Breivik trial: day three

Anders Behring Breivik arrives at court in the Norwegian capital, Oslo, for the start of the third day of his trial.

He's admitted killing 77 people but has pleaded not guilty.

He says his actions were not criminal as he was defending his country against Islam and immigration

He is also fighting to prove his assertion that he is sane.

In his first day of testimony on Tuesday Breivik said his shooting spree and bomb attack were sophisticated and spectacular.

He told the court he would do the same thing again.

Prosecutors have told a news conference that he would face questioning on Wednesday about a period from 2001 when he came into contact with right-wing nationalists.

The trial is expected to last about ten weeks.

A verdict is expected in mid-July.
