People happy about the decision by Argentina's government to nationalise Spanish-run oil company YPF gathered in the plaza outside government house in Buenos Aires.
In a move backed by President Cristina Fernandez, the state will takeover the nearly 60 percent owned by Spanish oil company Repsol.
