Rode Videomic Pro

Recently, LockerGnome's Jake Ludington suggested that I try the Rode Videomic Pro. This shotgun microphone is intended to provide decent audio in a wide range of environments. Instead of deciding on its quality myself, I've decided to open it up to the community to decide whether or not the Rode Videomic Pro was an improvement.
