Character Education that works – Look in the mirror
Children (K-5) learn how to love themselves, which starts them making a conscious decision, an intention to become happy and lead a fulfilled life. When children make a decision to love themselves, they are really saying that they want to come alive and accept that they are responsible for the outcome that they experience in life. Most would like themselves to shine from living a fulfilling life experience. Self-esteem and self-love are issues that are often related. Children, who suffer from low self esteem, may possibly have a root cause of insufficient self-love. Homework: go home look in the mirror and say “I just want to love you.” - to yourself. Directed by Harold B. Pritchett, Character Education Teacher.
