After losing six straight games, the Knicks and Mike D'Antoni mutually agreed to terminate D'Antoni as head coach on Wed., March 14th. Mike Woodson has been appointed head coach of the New York Knicks. Woodson was the head coach of the Atlanta Hawks having taken over the job from Terry Stotts prior to the 2004-05 NBA season.

Here's the Roster:

Top Scorers: Carmelo Anthony and Amare Stoudemire

Quality Center: Tyson Chandler

NBA Rising Stars Challenge: Jeremy Lin and Landry Fields

Three-Point Specialists Steve Novak and J.R. Smith

Good Defender: rookie Iman Shumpert

Woodson states that he will be still starting Jeremy Lin as point guard, but he's "he's all about his veterans." He said that Lin is still "in a learning stage."

With Woodson as head coach, will the NY Knicks make the playoffs? Playoffs start Saturday, April 16th.
