Battle Chess Review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRUndertow review of Battle Chess developed by Beam Software and published by Data East for the NES. Not the best looking version of the game to date, Battle Chess for the NES is still a good choice for the aspiring chess player. Clanking armor, battle scenes, and the classic strategy of the King's Game are all put together to create this 8-bit chess simulator.
