Myanmar's pro-democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi says she hopes her party's victory in parliamentary by-elections will mark the beginning of a new era.
Official results have not yet been published
but Suu Kyi said her National League for Democracy had won all seats being contested.
The elections follow a year of change in a country that spent decades under military rule.
